I expect the downtrend to continue and I'd be highly suspicious of anyone who says otherwise. The .028 high water mark was reached during the Bitstamp fiasco as people ditched IOUs for hard-crypto. In addition the total network value decreased from 2.4 billion to 1.56 and it's still falling. I am short XRP and will be for quite some time.

Bitstamp hot wallet problems started Jan 5, 2015 and ended Jan 11, 2015. Last XRP/USD 0.028 mark was reached Dec 18, 2014.

XRP is now down a full 50% from the high. Just FYI, the poll is set up so that you can change your vote.

BTC hasn't been this low since more than a year ago, right before the big spike to nearly $1200. If it continues on this trend, we could be looking at BTC of $100 or less. So where is the bottom for XRP? If it's moving in sympathy with BTC, could that mean a price of .006? Lower?

I can only hope that XRP drops that low! :money:
No worries! It is a bargain even at its current price-- .006 would be almost a steal; but not as good as .0048!

Given the further drop in price from when I originally posted this, I figured it was time for a bump. Poll is set up so that votes can be changed.

In relation to BTC, I think we're going over 20,000 XRP/ BTC soon. BTC broke the long-term treadline that it has struggled to breach for over a year so we'll probably see ~$300/ BTC within the coming week or two. If you were holding off to buy XRP with BTC, this might be a good opportunity.
